Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This policy explains what information LogansDev collects through this website, why, who receives it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
LogansDev is operated by Todd Logan, doing business as LogansDev, in Frisco, Texas, United States. For any question about this policy, email admin@logansdev.tech.
The short version
- We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising, and we do not rent or trade contact lists.
- We use what you give us only to answer you, to do the work you hire us for, and to bill for it.
- This site runs no analytics, no advertising and no cross-site tracking.
Information you give us
The contact form
| Field | Required | Why we ask |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Yes | To address you when we reply |
| Email address | Yes | To send our reply |
| Phone number | No | Only if you would rather we call |
| Company or business name | No | To understand who we would be building for |
| Budget range | No | To recommend the right package |
| Your message | Yes | To understand what you need |
We also record when you sent the form and where our follow-up stands.
The client portal
If you become a client, we hold your name, business name, phone number, one or two notification email addresses, and the account name you choose. We store your password only as a one-way hash, never as readable text. When you set a password, we check it against a public list of breached passwords by sending only the first five characters of its hash, which reveals nothing about the password itself.
We also hold the details we need to run your project: your site address, domain, hosting arrangement, package, fees, renewal dates, and the names of any Google Analytics or Search Console accounts you ask us to connect.
If you sign in with a passkey, we store only the public key your device creates. Your fingerprint, face or device PIN never leaves your device, and we never receive it.
Payments
We never see or store your card details. You enter your card and billing address directly into Stripe, our payment processor. We give Stripe your name, email address and the invoice you are paying. We keep Stripe's payment reference, the amount, the status, and the date.
Support requests
A support request sent from the portal comes to us by email. It is not stored on the website.
Information collected automatically
Everything this site displays comes from this site's own server. Images, typefaces, stylesheets and icons are all ours, so viewing a page tells no other company anything about you.
There is one exception. On the client portal, your browser loads Stripe's payment script from Stripe. Stripe receives your IP address and basic device information, and uses it to prevent fraud under Stripe's privacy policy. That script loads on no other page.
Like every web server, ours records the IP address and time of each request, for security and troubleshooting. We keep these logs for up to 30 days. When you are signed in to the portal, we also keep your browser type so you can see where you are signed in; it is deleted when that session ends.
For portal accounts we record security events (a password set, changed or reset, an email address changed, a passkey added or removed, or sign-in locked after failed attempts) with the date and the IP address. We keep them for 12 months so we can answer questions about your account.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies we set are in the client portal, and the portal cannot work without them:
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
__Host-portal_session | Keeps you signed in | Until you sign out or close your browser |
__Host-csrf_token | Stops other websites from making requests in your name | Until you sign out or close your browser |
__Host-webauthn | Signing in with a passkey | 5 minutes |
A portal session ends after 30 minutes without activity, or after 8 hours in all. On the portal payment page, Stripe sets its own fraud-prevention cookies.
Stored in your browser
- Your light or dark mode choice, on every page.
- In the portal: your name, company and notification email, so the portal can greet you, plus a marker that you have an account. These are removed when you sign out.
- On the example sites: carts and anything you type into a demo checkout. These stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
Clearing your browser data removes all of these.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track you across other websites, and we let no one else do so on this site. Because there is no tracking to turn off, the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry
- To prepare a proposal, quote or agreement
- To build, host, monitor and support your website if you become a client
- To send invoices, renewal notices and receipts, and to record payments
- To send account security notices and sign-in codes
- To keep the site secure and to meet our legal obligations
We do not send marketing email.
Who receives it
Only the service providers we need to run the business. Each uses your information only to provide its service to us.
| Provider | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Azure | Everything the site stores | The site and its database run there |
| Resend | Your name, email address and the content of each email we send you | To deliver our email |
| Stripe | Your name, email, the invoice you pay, and the card and billing details you enter with them | To process payments |
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| An inquiry | While we are talking with you. When we close it, we archive it and delete it permanently 12 months later. |
| Client records | While we work together. When your account closes, 7 years, for tax, accounting and warranty purposes, then deleted permanently. |
| Security events | 12 months |
| Server logs | Up to 30 days |
| Database backups | 35 days. Information we delete is gone from every backup 35 days later. |
| Signed-in browser list | Until each session ends |
Your choices
Email admin@logansdev.tech to ask us to:
- Send you a copy of what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information permanently
Clients can also change their email addresses in the portal. We answer every request by email. If a record such as an invoice has to be kept, the answer says so.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Passwords and access codes are stored as hashes. Card details never reach our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we collect only what we need, which limits what could ever be exposed.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we handle information, we update this page and the date at the top. A material change is described here.
